Raz is a great teacher!
His lessons are extremely valuable, but also a real pleasure to follow. He is able to adjust to each person's pace (he teaches my son and I). I cannot recommend him more!

Razvan is a fantastic teacher!
Very patient, kind, and encouraging! He makes lessons fun and challenging for young children! We highly recommend him to any parent that is looking for a great music teacher for their children!

I’ve played guitar and a variety of styles for many years, but never studied seriously. Learning classical guitar with Raz has brought my playing and enjoyment of music to another level. And it has been serious fun!
Raz has a deep respect for fundamentals in the service of expression. Technique is never separate from tone, phrasing, or musical meaning. Lessons are thoughtful, collaborative, and musical, not mechanical. Over the few years we worked together we learned so many pieces together. It's crazy how much ground we covered when I look back. But we also enjoyed the process, splicing in a good jam with the careful study, and discovered together a musical path for me.

Raz is a gifted musician and a wonderful teacher!
Patient, creative, structured, firm when necessary and always fun! Raz is able to translate expert knowledge to a level appropriate even for a seven-year-old child. Piano and guitar with Raz on Saturday mornings is a highlight of our weekend! Our son loves his sessions with Raz. He’s quickly grasping the basics of theory, technique, rhythm, and music notation for both instruments. Learning the fundamentals can be rote and dry but Raz makes the whole experience enjoyable while tailoring to our son’s personality and capacities. Just the right amount of challenge and fun each lesson.
Can’t recommend him highly enough!

You are able to correct my posture, guitar handling, fingering and dynamics.
Amazing how the piece transforms, how it sounds!
As an artist you know your craft. So privileged to see you perform on stage, a Segovia. Inspiring, gifted guitar artist, thank you Razvan.

Raz is a very gifted musician and knows how to share his knowledge with his students.
My 9-year-old daughter has been learning guitar with Raz for the past 3 years. She has progressed steadily. He is well organized, flexible, and has a clear method for teaching music. I highly recommend Raz for both children and adults.

Taking lessons with Raz has been a complete game changer!
I have been a musical hobbyist for about 20 years, mostly learning piano as well as a bit of voice and guitar. I have worked with a fair number of teachers during that time, each with their own distinct teaching style. Teaching for him is not just a job but a passion that he takes very seriously. The level of preparation and personalization that he brings to his classes is impressive, and he has made me feel seen as a student and budding musician in a way that I’ve never experienced before. His emphasis on musicality makes you feel that you can express yourself as an individual even in the simplest pieces of music, not just the magnus opus. He provides technical exercises that slowly lead you to better playing without overemphasis on endless repetition. He teaches you to listen to yourself in a way that builds confidence in the quality of your sound instead of feeling that you are always just fixing mistakes. This has helped me improve in all my musical endeavors, not just with the classical guitar. His positive and non-judgmental attitude makes lessons a joy. You feel that you are progressing, which consequently makes you want to practice more. Whether you are a beginner or want to tackle more complex pieces, Raz will come up with a plan that allows you to achieve your goals in a timely fashion. Thank you Raz, I could not recommend you more highly.
